Andean wool blankets come in two presentations:
The Single Pile Andean Blankets and the Double Pile Andean Blankets.
The Single Pile Andean Blankets have only one side brushed to create an extra soft warm surface, while the other side keeps a beautiful tight knit.
The Double Pile Andean Blankets have both sides of the fabric brushed, doubling the fibers ability to insulate and keep warmth, creating unique blankets with two napped sides.
To increase warmth and decrease your energy bill, layering is suggested as done in Europe and South America, where homes are not usually heated. This is commonly done by using the Double Pile Andean Blanket first and on top the Single Pile Andean Blanket.
